Client: Owen Architects
This beautifully designed home was nominated for the architects of the year award. Designed by London based firm, Owen Architects and photographed by us for the submission. The interior of this property has been intelligently designed. The use of the huge windows not only provided an incredible view for the occupants, but also assisted with its heating requirements. Even in the midst of winter, it was easy to keep the property warm. Another focal point was the staircase, which leads you up a floor while bathed in warm sunlight.
Owen Architects required us to photograph both the interior and exterior to show key architectural points and features. These images were to be used for the submission and also, for their own portfolio and marketing requirements.
Client: Société des Bains de Mer de Monaco
The Monte-Carlo Cigar Club, housed within the iconic Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, is a new addition to the luxury hospitality offerings of Société des Bains de Mer. Designed as an exclusive retreat for cigar enthusiasts, the space features a blend of classic elegance and contemporary detail—dark wood paneling, soft ambient lighting, and reflective surfaces throughout. Our task was to capture the atmosphere and design of the lounge in a way that preserved its intimacy while showcasing the architectural finishes and spatial flow.
Photographing the space came with several challenges. The combination of glossy materials, mirrors, and metal accents required careful control of reflections and strategic composition. Bright daylight pouring in from large windows clashed with the warmer tones of interior lighting, creating a complex mix of colour temperatures. Managing high dynamic range was crucial, especially when retaining detail in both the highlights and shadows. We used a combination of exposure blending and local adjustments to faithfully reproduce the mood and clarity of the space, while ensuring the final images conveyed the understated luxury that defines the club.
